CANCELED: Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Legislative Caucus 2021 Annual Meeting

Due to recent developments related to the continuing COVID pandemic, the 2021-22 Annual Meeting of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Legislative Caucus (GLLC), previously scheduled to be held in Chicago on January 21-22, 2022, has been cancelled.

Plans are already underway for a series of virtual events to be offered in lieu of the canceled in-person meeting beginning in just a few weeks.  The series will address a variety of key policy issues related to the protection and restoration of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River and will include sessions on climate resilience in coastal communities; efforts to reduce nutrient pollution; the cleanup and removal of toxic substances; recent policy developments at the federal level in the U.S. and Canada; and the deployment of additional federal funding benefiting the Great Lakes region.
